TVI: Absolutely NOT hot! Why?Well let me tell you! The site is down for maintainence half the time, the travel portal NEVER works and they are always being investigated by the FTC! Not only that if you join TVI and you are not happy with the lack of service that you paid for you will NOT get your money back!Because the people that operate TVI were sneaky and put their base of operations outside of North America so they couldn't be touched by the law!

NuSkin has been around for 25 years and they know what they are doing, they spend millions on scientific research to bring you the best products that money can buy!I can tell you personally that their products work and although I am no longer a distributor I am still a customer because NuSkins products are that good!

Sundance Global: This one is also pretty new, the goal of Sundance Global is to sell people food with a 15 year shelf life.Hmmmm I don't know Sundance, there has to be a hell of a lot of preservatives in order for Sundance food to last that long.And it's an autoship comapny what makes them think you want shelves of this stuff cluttering your house? Another thing you need to add water to it, what if there's a nuclear disaster and there is not enough water to make this crap? I think I'll pass Sundance.

In conclusion; I have some advice to give that I have learned the hard way:

Don't join a company unless it has been around for more that 20 years.

Don't quit your day job.......EVER!

And no matter how good your friends are don't join business ventures with them!

A New Venture Begins..........

In my ongoing search for a way to give up my job and work from home I have finally come a cross a winner! Rather, it came to me in the form of a trusted friend that I have known for more than 10 years :)

How Speculation And Ignorance Can Ruin Your Business

I received a disturbing e-mail from a friend of mine last night who is just learning how to use the internet in a marketing sense.Everyone that lives around her all tell her that all internet based companies are scams and pyramids!These are people who most likely have either joined a program and failed miserably (because they were not trained properly) or figured that internet marketing was easier than traditional marketing.That assumption alone is not only foolish but dangerous if you are starting off with very little money to begin with!

IN ORDER TO BE A GOOD MARKETER YOU HAVE TO KNOW HOW TO MARKET!

All those ads that people see: "Average Joe makes $45,652.78 in 6 months" is a hook to get people in to their programs because these people know that there are lazy, greedy people out there looking for a quick financial fix!

While it probably is true that that "Average Joe" did make that amount of money in the specified time; what they don't tell you is 6 months before that he studied marketing and just applied what he learned to the web format.

While it is true that the reputation of MLM has been damaged by greedy, selfish, lazy people that thought that they could get away with it forever; not all companies are scams and pyramids.
Every day, large(billion dollar) corporations are turning to the internet to recruit sales people because they know that is where they are going to find the cream of the crop!
Direct sales companies are not pyramids, when you walk into a furniture store and a sales person sells you a furniture suite, they get a commission and so does their boss, and so does the head office.When someone signs up for a diet program; they have to buy the food every week, if it was delivered to them then it would be called auto ship, but they have to pick it up and they are still spending money every week buying the food even when the diet is over to maintain that weight.A good example of residual income are printers, you pay the one price for the printer but you have to buy new ink for it every month or so, so even though you already bought the printer the company is still making a residual income from you because you have to buy the ink from the same company.
If people want to call companies pyramids they might as well call every company a pyramid because the structure is the same it is just more obvious online, in the big chain store the bottom row is the customers that buy their products  pass their money up to the cashiers (affiliates if you will) which pass the money up to the managers (sponsors) which pass the money up to accounting (team Leaders) which pass the money up to the corporate office (business owners), which then distribute it back down to the managers and employees and Human resources (recruitors) in the form of pay checks (residual income).People that don't understand how businesses are structured don't stop and think about these things.

And that's the way it is.
